The phone rings but no progress

Capt’n’s Log – February 11, 2016: Not looking very good…

Well, My marketing campaign… was expensive. The Phone Rings But No Progress… Damn it! So to recap. I am writing yellow letters because everyone swears by them. However, I personally do not see the logic in YL but what do I know, I am just a beginner so I will give it a shot.

I HATE YELLOW LETTERS!!!!! I should have listened to my intuition and followed my own logic. It makes no sense! I was always against it but NO, I had to listen to others. It was a complete and total waste of money A LOT OF EFFORT, and a complete waste of time. Want to know why I am so against it? Ask me why in the comments below. I don’t want to go on a barbaric rant if no one even cares ^_^

An Early Verdict

About $1.35 dollars per lead if you buy over I think 600. $1.45 dollars per lead under 600. See here is what I do not get. So someone inherited a house. Why would they be distressed to sell? It is a gift. It is something extra they get. A bonus. It is something extra they didn’t have before. I do not see the need for them to be distressed when they got a whole house.

The reason is: They inherited a house, as well as the taxes due, bills, maintenance costs, insurance, lawn care etc. etc. Owning a house is expensive. When people barely get by owning their own house, getting “gifted ” a second house may be devastating.

I guess from what everyone says I am doing “friggin amazing fantastic...” and yes I am getting a bunch of calls. But a lot of angry people and none distressed. I am wasting too much time effort and money marketing to that list. So I have decided to stop it with the inheritance list and going for something “else”.

I woke up early this morning and wrote an extra 40 handwritten yellow letters. I will send these out now, and by tonight I hope to have finished an extra 50. My goal is now 50 a day. I know it is not many, but try writing 50 letters! Besides, if I do get a lead I need to focus on one at a time. I am just not set-up to handle more. Also, someone in NYC got to me via my website filling in my “free offer form”. My website is not even near the top of the search pages so they must have gotten it from BP. Now, why would they ask me for an offer when I am in CT?!

Looks shady.

As you can see… lots of activity, but no direction in sight. It is hard to keep my head up. Earlier I managed to convince myself that it will be alright. I wish I still felt that way. I guess I have to read that article again. The thing is, I need to make a deal. I need to see for myself that what I am doing works, as I can’t be spending all my money not knowing what I am doing is correct. I wish I already made it. But one day I know I will. So, even if the phone rings but no progress I still have to believe it is coming!
